These Stainless Steel Timber Screws are a heavy duty screw that are designed as an alternative to coach screws.
Manufactured from A4 Stainless Steel for ultimate corrosion resistance making it ideal for external applications.
Stainless steel must be used where there is corrosive environment and/or where the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics e.g. Green Oak.
They are up to 20 times faster at installation compared to coach screws.
This heavy duty In-Dex screw dramatically decreases installation time as it doesn’t require a pilot hole into most wood types.
Partially threaded for ultimate clamping of timber.
These Timco heavy duty index screws are designed for structural timber applications and comply with CE Approval EN14592.
The screw is ideal for outdoor applications or where extra strength is required.
The coating on these 6.7 x 250mm Stainless Steel Hex Head Timber Screws consists of patented multi layer coating to with stand 1000 hours in a salt spray test.
The screws are hex head for ultimate grip and have a type 17 cutter point for reduce torque and splitting the timber.
The single slash point reduces torque and the risk of timber splitting at low edge distance.
The 50 degree deep single thread allows for a secure fixing.
A 25° sharp point and single lead for a fast start and improved thread acceptance.
