Evolution Hex Head Screws 5.5 x 38mm Bonded Washer for Heavy Steel 16mm are ideal for roofing, cladding and steel frame and hot and cold purlins.
These hex head screws come with Evolution Evoshield® technology which has up to 500 hours of spray salt protection.
The 16mm EPDM rubber washer ensures washer is water resistant once installed correctly.
These screws will penetrate into steel of up to 12.5mm in thickness due to their long self drilling tip.
Wing drill self-drilling screws are specifically designed for fixing through timber into heavy steel sections without the need for pre-drilling.
The wings ream out the timber before breaking off when contacting the steel substrate, allowing the drill point to penetrate thick steel efficiently.
