Paslode Gas

Paslode Gas Fuel cell

Paslode gas fuel cells are compatible with Paslode IM360Ci and the Paslode PPNXI positive placement Nailer. These patented fuel cells offer superior performance that allows professional tradesman to operate their Nailer in damp environments and up to -15c, Over 1200 shots per fuel cell, which is a lot of bang for your buck.

Common questions on Paslode gas use

What kind of gas does Paslode use? The fuel comprises a blend of 1-butene and propane. Each fuel cell is engineered to endure 1,000 cycles, making them ideal for demanding projects requiring numerous nails or staples.

Does Paslode gas go bad? Fuel cells have “Best Used By” date stamped on them. While they might function beyond this date, if a tool starts working inconsistently, it could indicate an expired fuel cell. An expired fuel cell loses internal pressure, leading to decreased performance.

How do I know if my Paslode fuel cell is empty? Gently press the white stem against a firm surface multiple time. Each push should release a small amount of fuel. If no fuel is dispensed, the cell is empty.

Why does Paslode gas have a use by date? Paslode fuel cells have use-by dates because over time, they lose pressure, which is crucial for injecting the right amount of fuel into the tool for firing.

Why does my Paslode not fire? Potential reasons for a Paslode nailer’s failure to fire include: a nail jam obstructing nail movement, an empty, expired, or incorrectly attached gas cartridge, and the use of improper Paslode nails.

How often should I clean my Paslode? Remember to maintain your nail gun by cleaning it after every 50,000 shots. Look for the indicator on your Paslode tool to know when it’s time for cleaning. If you’re working in a dusty environment or tackling a demanding project, consider cleaning it more frequently.

If your Paslode Nailer is not receiving any gas, there be a technical issue and your Paslode nail gun made need a servicing, if this is the case, Securall Fastening provide full repair service on Paslode nail guns.

Why is my Paslode nail gun not getting gas? If your nail gun isn’t firing consistently, first check the gas fuel cell. Ensure it’s properly attached and not expired, as old gas loses pressure and can cause intermittent firing issues.
