Medium wire staples for wood are usually thicker wire and are best suited for garden products, timber sheds, fencing, trellis work, joinery and timber pallets.

Heavy wire staples for wood have the thickest wire usually 16g wire ensuring strenght and rigidity in applications like furniture frames, drywall plasterboard construction, bed manufacturing and timber frame and agricultural farm fencing.
