Stainless Steel Screws 5 x 50mm TX Head are ideal for external environments such as timber cladding, facades, windows, door frames, timber frame, timber sheds, glulam.
These screws are manufactured using A2 stainless steel. Also known as A2 Austenitic 304 stainless steel screws.
Stainless steel screws must be used where there is a corrosive environment and/or the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics e.g. Green Oak, irroko, Accoya, larch, cedar wood.
The TX (star) head offer a ultra modern classy aesthetic finish to any cladding project.
The partially thread feature means the timber can be easily clamped and will not spin out when driving.
More screws can be used in less space and larger screws in smaller elements. Costs and time for project implementation are reduced.
The concealed 60° head and 3 THORNS tip allow easy insertion of the screw into small thickness without splitting the timber.

Suitable for outdoor applications and on acidic wood, but away from corrosive agents (chlorides, sulphides, etc.).
Not suitable for use in chlorous atmospheres or less than 1km from the sea. A2 screws are stainless steel screws mainly used in general outdoor and indoor applications where corrosion resistance is needed, but not in harsh marine or chemically aggressive conditions.
